Services & Appointments

  • All grooming services are provided by appointment only.

  • The Velvet Paux operates in partnership with Southpaw K9 and is housed on their property.

  • While we share space and a commitment to excellence, grooming services are offered independently by The Velvet Paux.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet’s behavior, health, or condition presents a safety risk.

Location, Facilities & Shared Space

  • The Velvet Paux operates within the Southpaw K9 facility, located at [insert address if desired].

  • Clients may interact with shared amenities including parking and common areas.

  • Southpaw K9 remains responsible for all training, boarding, and play care services; grooming services are exclusively managed by The Velvet Paux.

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Missed appointments or same-day cancellations may incur a fee.

  • Excessive no-shows may result in future appointment refusal.

Health & Behavior Requirements

  • Dogs must be current on required vaccinations.

  • Please disclose any health issues, behavioral concerns, or special needs prior to your appointment.

  • We reserve the right to pause or end a service if the dog is in distress or poses a risk to staff.

Liability & Disclaimer

  • The Velvet Paux is not liable for pre-existing conditions, underlying health issues, or unreported behavioral concerns that may impact grooming.

  • While housed at Southpaw K9, The Velvet Paux remains solely responsible for grooming services.

  • Clients booking training, boarding, or daycare services will be subject to Southpaw K9’s separate policies and terms.

  • All content on www.velvetpaux.com—including branding, images, and written material—is the property of The Velvet Paux and may not be used without permission.

  • Use of the site for unlawful purposes is strictly prohibited.
